It will be a good thing if this year you will start every day with a quiet period with the Lord by reading the verses of God’s Word, thanking Him and then praying. by going through our “Bible Readers 2022” book. We will have a unique opportunity to meet the Lord when we read and meditate on the Word of God from a total of 14 books of the Bible. This is the fourteenth (14) year since we started a new procedure where the main church events did not match the flow of daily studies

ABOUT US
Scripture Union of Tanzania

Our aim is to work with churches throughout Tanzania to make the Good News of Jesus Christ known to children and young people and to encourage people of all ages to grow in the Christian Faith. We run short residential training camps and conferences for children and young people and publish books to assist individuals and families to study the Bible daily. We have established a Vocational Training School where young people can learn trade skills in a Christian training environment. Scripture Union of Tanzania’s head office is in Dar es Salaam. Scripture Union of Tanzania is linked to a worldwide fellowship of Scripture Union organisations in over 110 countries.

History

Scripture Union began in London in 1867 as a ministry providing Bible training for children through lively play & stories in an informal setting. In the United States, Scripture Union began in 1959 and has developed a variety of evangelism and discipleship programs for children, youth and families, as well as several Bible engagement programs and publications for all ages. Today, Scripture Union is active in over 120 countries. We still work to introduce children and young people to Jesus, as well as equipping adults with in-depth resources for regular Bible reading. Movements in each country may carry out the mission a little differently, but all are centered around the same goal.
